As Simparica trio does kill worms like hookworms and roundworms as well, it is important to have your dog tested. As with all heartworm medications, this is a preventative measure and it is important that your dog is first tested for existing heartworm.

My dog has been taking without a problem. European version exact same. Your vet would love to have you buy it from them, but they also want to make 40% more profit when you buy it from them.

Like every other treatment, there are side effects, however this one seems to work well for my dog and my situation. Being blind and not having to give my dog more than one pill is nice, and I have no known side effects, vet mine turned and tested. So yes it's new on the market, however it's a lot better than other products such as the skin thing that can burn your dog.

Our vet prescribed Simparica Trio for our young Golden Retriever, & I trusted him. After the very first dose, our dog developed over 10 continuous days of diarrhea. Please read the massive list of side effects included with this "so called" wonder medicine before giving it to your dog! And diarrhea is not an uncommon side effect
